Default fan switch

I have had problems up the bazoo getting a fan switch for my 87 944. Always wrong part. I finally found one but the temp range on it is 95 to 102. I noticed one on the EBAY that showed 83 to 92 degrees. What are the ramifications of this higher temp range switch? Is this going to be a problem?

The difference in temperature ranges are just when the fan switches on. In a hot climate you want the lowest temperature range possible. I live in the south and have a 65 degree one. Reaching the switch to replace it is troublesome though... most annoying place imaginable. 944online.com has a few.

At this point, I'm just happy to have one in there that actually fits. We'll see how it works this summer in Florida.
