hello folks, i have a 944 here 84, its driving me crazy, ill explain.
when i turn on headlights, the lights come on but they dont come up, instead the fuse blows for the motor(fuse 2) but when i pull the relay on the motor it doesent blow.
ive fitted a new motor and relay, and the lights work smooth with the wheel on the motor, ive also replaced the switch.
the relay in the fusebox is also good and switching, is that anything to do with the motor or is that just for the main beams?
i dont fully understand the circuit to check it with the meter, heres how i think it works, the motor gets a feed from the switch and pending position the relay on motor turns it on and off, the relay cuts high amp power when the gap comes in the track, so going on that i should have power always in the middle two pins in the plug above relay, the two heavyer wires, brown(earth) and red blue, doesent this make sense? and the two outer lighter wires being the switch wires, earth and live from headlight switch,??
