I have an '87 944 turbo and would like to replace the phone dial wheels with 17" turbo twists. I've seen it done with 225 45 ZR 17's tires in front and 255 40 ZR 17's on the back. What size wheels would I need to duplicate those tire sizes? What backspacing and offset? Where can I get the wheels? will I need to install backspacers?
