I have just gone through my 83 944 rebuilt the head, due to the other guy not replaceing the timming belts, redoing the interior, just trying to make it new so I don't have any problems down the road or atleast elimanate as many as i can right off the bat.
Well not to bore you, when I got the car one of the problems I had was there was not spark but power going to the coil and no power to the fuel pump. I had a shop tell me it was my DME but along with the on that was in there, I've had three of them in there, and still the same problem. Hopefuly someone out there can tell my whatsup. I heard that the factory alarm my have somthing to do with the DME like cutting out some signals to the brain. Thanks for any help Pat
