Default Guards Red Intrument Dials

I'm seriously considering a used06 Boxster S in guards red, with about 2400 miles on it. But the car has the matching guards red instrument dial option and they're almost impossible to read in daylight. Would it be reasonable or advisable to change them out for the standard white on black dials? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Aftermarket gauges usually run about 299 and are easy to swap out. You may be able to find someone who has installed them and saved their old black faces that would sell them to you cheap. You will need them for a 987 boxster with whatever transaxle you have.
