is KAPUT und meine nachbar ( neighbor) towed my sorry *** home with his 89 ford ranger !! What a lovely sight a rustbucket ford with 200 k mi towing
a shiney and inoperative TOY!!!!!!! He then laughed und sagt -- DUMBKOPF - deine auto ist scheisse!!
I guess at least it didn't happen 500 miles from my stinkin CRIBwah wah wah now for the fun part reachin in to the poor old wallet for some deflated greenbacks!! Thanks for the advice !! GUTEN ABEND - ( good night)

 

You will need a large breaker bar and either a 32 or 36mm socket (i can't recall which it is at the moment). The wheel nut is torqued to about 400ft/lbs, so it will take some work to break it loose. You will need to drop the belly pan, and crossmember on that side, and possibly the catalytic converter as well.

Thanks for your support !! I got an new axel on the internet for under 500
and I whimped out of fixing her myself. I have a GR 8 mechanic that does all kinds of cars and first was paranoid that he wasn't super knowledgeable on
Porsches' but he did it and only hit me for 250.. SO my Boxster is a bouncing again YYY'ALLL ROCK && THANX +++++ FOR THE SUPPORT
Don't be driving your boxster like a Chevy Cavalier now after reading this.!!
