I just purchased a 2004 Cayenne S in perfect condition and love it so far. I have been a Porsche enthusiast for a long time now and have owned 2 other Porsches in the past, a 78' 911 targa and an 85' 928 both great cars. I'm just getting to know this Cayenne and figuring out all the bells and whistles. First I live in Minnesota so I am dealing with our winter. Can someone give me a run down on the all wheel drive system and the slider switch in the center console? Is it just for slow driving when engaged or can I use it on snow covered roads? I haven't really tried it yet. Also I read somewhere that the tailgate is closed by and electric mechanism that pulls it down tight. Mine does not do that and I have to slam it to shut all the way. Thanks
