Have got a problem with the drivers side mirror, hoping someone can help.Thewhole mirror has come loose, can lift upwards, moves loosely back and forward on the rod shaped arm, does not click into position, seems to be only attached by the wires connected to the control inside,have I broken some sort of spring inside which keeps it tight and mechanical??There is an allan key bolt holding the complete mirror to the body but how do I get inside the casing to fix the problem....hope someone outthere can help me out please!!

There is a round plastic clip on the backside of the mirror. You turn it about 10 degrees with a flat blade screwdriver and it locks into the mirror motor. You may have to pull the mirror away from the motor and take a look at the backside to understand it.

The allen does not need to come off, and there are wires that will prevent you from doing anything with it anyway.
