My early 1985 944 wont start. no spark and no fuel pump operation.
I have 12v to the coil , cap and rotor good, wires good , coil checks out,
fuses good, battery voltage 12.6v at coil.
where do I go next?
thanks

DME relay, then speed and reference sensors and the DME. I assume the tach does not bounce when you crank the car.

Thanks Doc,
No tack bounce. How do I identify the dme relay? Is the dme relay located with the other relays above the fuse box?

If it is an early 85, then it is under the dash on the top row of relays. Black square tall relay, also called the fuel pump relay.
