Hello. I recently purchased a 1988 944 with about 128K miles on it as a project car. When starting the engine cold, it idles very rough. After just 30 seconds to a minute of reving it up a bit, it idles fine. It also revs fine when the engine is cold...idle is the only problem. Suggestions?

Check your DME temp sensor. Then check your idle stabilizer valve
