Default 997 Turbo Break In?

Hey people, i just got a new 997 turbo and i was just wondering if breaking in the new engine is necessary? Some one my friend's said it is already broken in but the manual book says i got to drive it below 4000 rpm or something. HELP ME!! should i speed full throttle or should i just drive slow till 2000 miles.?!

I face the same thing when I got my Porsche too, the dealer sales man told me don't have to break in. But I end up follow the book and wait. That is just me, play it save. After all, I believe the instruction on the book mean something.
