Default Parking Break Light.

Lately I've been having problems with my e-break light...AKA the parking light. In order for me to drop the top on my 2000 Porsche Boxster, I need to have the e-break up with the Park light on. Lately it hasn't been turning on...Is this a common problem? I kind of have to play with it, move it slowly up and down in order for the light to turn on...Is there any way of bypassing this?

Or anybody have any ideas? or have had this problem so I can fix it...It's starting to get annoying haha.

Thank you so much,
Dean

Toss in a new parking brake switch and your problems will go away.
