I am considering buying a used Porsche. I like the 911 turbo 96,97,98 models as well as the 99 model (non turbo). I am afraid the turbo would eat me alive in maintainance costs vs a 99 model. I have read reviews on the 99 model and it seems to be one of the more reliable years. What do you think?

 

The best rule is to never buy a car used that you could not afford, maybe in a bit of a stretch, new. I'd apply that rule here.
