Buy checklist
Hello everybody.
I have just joined your company in search of information about Porsche.
Owning one has always been a dream of mine and now that I can afford it I am thinking of buying one.
My dream car is a 993 S, but since they are too expensive for me, my entry to Porsche world will have to be something more affordable.
So I am thinking of buying a 944 S2 or Turbo, which are great looking cars and handle superbly.
I am leaning more to the S2 since it is cheaper to run as an everyday car and maintain.
I have found a couple of cars for 6-8k (that's euros, I am leaving in the Netherlands) and they look stunning (only seen photos).
Before going to see them and have a close contact though I would like to have with me, a checklist of things that I should pay attention to.
And here is where I need your help.
Could you please provide me with such a checklist?
Any food for thought would also be much appreciated.

RE: Buy checklist
Maintenance records would be good to have, since these cars can be manitenance ******. Depending on mileage, there should be some major maintenance items that should have been (or will need to be) taken care of - timing belt, water pump, oil pump, clutch... even oil changes. When I bought my car, the previous owner had maintenance records for every oil change, tire ballance, radiator fluid top-off, replaced control arm, etc. dated back to 1988. That will give you a good indication of how well the car was taken care of.
