Default Wheel balancing

I'm having great difficulty getting the Design90 front wheels on my 1990 944 S2 successfully balanced, even at the place recommended by my nearest Porsche Centre!

It's noticeable between 65 & say 90 mph, not toobad but bad enough to be annoying. I have locking wheel nuts & it's been suggested that as they are heavier than the ordinary nuts (I'm an extraordinary nut!) it puts the wheel out of balance when re-fitted. As far as I can tell the wheels are not distorted from damage but I'm getting frustrated.

Has anybody out there had the same/similar problem & how did you cure it, assuming you did?

Default RE: Wheel balancing

try puting the same size lug nut on all the lugs, that will help determine if it is the locking lug nuts
