Default Wheel balancing

I'm having great difficulty getting the Design90 front wheels on my 1990 944 S2 successfully balanced, even at the place recommended by my nearest Porsche Centre!</P>


It's noticeable between 65 &amp; say 90 mph, not toobad but bad enough to be annoying. I have locking wheel nuts &amp; it's been suggested that as they are heavier than the ordinary nuts (I'm an extraordinary nut!) it puts the wheel out of balance when re-fitted. As far as I can tell the wheels are not distorted from damage but I'm getting frustrated.</P>


Has anybody out there had the same/similar problem &amp; how did you cure it, assuming you did?</P>

try puting the same size lug nut on all the lugs, that will help determine if it is the locking lug nuts
