Default Pricing on 993

Other than the obvious fact that the 993 is a very popular car, why do all of the pricing guides seem to miss what these cars are selling for by 5-15k? Any other good sources of pricing info. other than perusing various classifieds? Thanks.

Default RE: Pricing on 993

Pricing resources like KBB among many others, are always off on such a popular car like the 993 because they do not take into account that this car is now considered as a Porsche classic, even though it is so popular, it is a very rare car due to the fact that it was only produced for around 3 years, and they cant be seen that often around, so when you do find one...it really depends on the condition of the car to why they are so over priced, taking into account everything I just mentioned...automatically the price is very elivated to what the actual value of the car really is. low supply+demand= over-priced.
